MOUNTAIN CARE

The  “TRIPLEZERO” products are designed to last a very, very, very long time.
Each compartment is closed and the down of one compartment cannot pass into another during its use or the wash.

In order to be happy with your “TRIPLE ZERO” eiderdown or your down jacket for a very, very, very long time, a good care is essential.

Use

On the ground, ventilate and expose inside out to the sun or in the open air, as soon as possible, each time the sleeping bag is a little wet.
Avoid keeping the  sleeping bag wet and compressed for too long .
If one uses a wet “TRIPLES ZERO” sleeping bag, experience shows that the sleeping bag combined with the body heat will pump moisture and in the morning one is dry, the sleeping bag will have collected the moisture and it will have then to be dried.
If one bivouacs without protection under the rain, the fabric will be wet first, but the naturally hydrophobic down will take a few hours before getting really wet.

Storage

At home, never keep the sleeping bag compressed and even less wet or dirty, and above all not in an airtight closed packaging.
Ideally, it should be kept opened, but the provided storage bag is perfectly appropriate.

For small articles, accessories, waistcoats or small down jackets one can dry them in domestic 5kg dryers as in laundries.
